Its a passion........

My Dad and I have been involved with 55-57 Chevies and 67-69 Camaros for more than 30 years. Dad first drag raced his 55 Belair hardtop, complete with tweaked 327 and turbo 350, back in the 60's and early 70's. The old girl ran pretty well, posting quarter mile ET's in the 13 second range. We then graduated to a 69 Rally Sport Z. We tweaked the mighty 302 and had it turning quarter mile times in the 11 second range. By the way, that was on a fully streetable car at a weight of about 3450 pounds- not too shabby! Oh and by the way, Dad shifted his tranny the old fashioned way- by himself! That Muncie held up well also. We wish we had that car now!

In 1992, we completed a total nut and bolt "frame off" restoration of my 55 Belair Sedan. Toward the end of this seven year restoration, people started referring to me as "BelAir Bob". It sort of made sense, and the name stuck.

Basically, we're a father and son team of car guys who were bitten hard by the Chevy bug- particularly the 55-57 Chevies and early camaros. Between the two of us, we have owned half a dozen early Chevies and a like number of Camaros. We own three right now... a 67 RS, a 69 RS/SS 396 and a 69 RS/SS street rod complete with 540 cubic inches of angry supercharged Chevy "rat" motor!!

We decided to direct our passion to our small business, so here we are.
